Solvent Recyclers From Labhut

Labhut is a distributor of scientific instruments and laboratory equipment whose range includes SolventTrak solvent recyclers. These systems are designed for the recycling of uncontaminated solvents which have been used in isocratic HPLC systems. In general, a great deal of the mobile phase solvents from these applications may be recycled and reused, providing significant savings by reducing consumption as well as reducing the need for solvent disposal. This recycler provides both savings and through its ability to allow solvents to be reused, an environmental benefit as well.

The SolventTrak solvent recyclers are a more advanced alternative to traditional solvent recycling, using a unique integration algorithm to identify peaks in the eluent. This allows all contaminants to be eliminated from the solvent before reuse, even in cases where conditions in the chromatography system used may result in baseline drift.

Features of SolventTrak solvent recyclers include:

  • Peak detection algorithm to accurately detect and define eluting peaks and divert wastes
  • Integrates seamlessly into virtually any isocratic liquid chromatography system
  • Reduces solvent consumption by as much as 90%
  • 200 Hz continuous sampling rate during operation
  • Peak width ranges are user definable (1, 5, 15, 30, 45, 60, 75, 90, 105, 120, 150, 180, 210, 240, 270 and 300 seconds)
  •  -1 to +1V signal input range
  • User definable peak slope range from 15 -14,400
  • User friendly and easy to operate
  • Automatic performance validation and NIST traceable calibration certified
  • Large, easy to read LCD display provides continuous monitoring of voltage levels
  • Peak detection sensitivity is easily adjustable with the SolventTrak’s solvent recyclers front mounted controls
  • Compact design for small bench top footprint
