Autoclaving products stand up to potential contamination
Priorclave has a well-deserved reputation as one of the UK's leading manufacturers of laboratory autoclaves, supplying high-quality products to the medical, pharmaceutical, food, drink, and dairy industries. The manufacturer's Compact C40 model represents excellence in design and engineering, and delivers a number of features designed to bring you the best in sterilisation technologies, suitable for many applications in which autoclaving is required.
The benchtop Priorclave C40 is the first range of products to offer the option of stand-off leg mounting, permitting significantly improved access to the area beneath the autoclave to allow easier disinfection and cleaning of the surface below. In modern laboratory environments this represents a simple but incredibly convenient enhancement to your autoclaving facility, greatly reducing risks of potential contamination. This brings particular advantages to designated CAT 3 containment level facilities.
The Compact C40 is a wide-format vacuum autoclave, featuring a front-loading chamber with a versatile 40 litre capacity. The autoclaving unit's frame members and epoxy-coated panels incorporate BioCote® - a unique antimicrobial surface treatment which is effective against a broad spectrum of microorganisms including bacteria and fungus, including MRSA, E. coli, Salmonella and Legionella pneumophila.
Combining two distinct vacuum phases, the C40 offers reliability and efficiency and is ideal for laboratory glassware, instruments and waste as well as wrapped or porous goods. The initial pre-vacuum phase evacuates the load chamber's ambient air, which allows the steam to work completely and efficiently through the autoclaving cycle. Then the post-vacuum drying phase quickly and effectively removes steam and condensate from the chamber, allowing a considerably faster overall cycle time.
The Priorclave C40 is a compact benchtop autoclave, but one that offers features and options that you would normally only find in larger autoclaving products. By combining manageable benchtop dimensions with autoclaving cycle efficiency and innovative antimicrobial surface treatment, this product provides top-of-the-range steam sterilisation that can be utilised in a range of business sectors, from healthcare, pharmaceutical and veterinary application through food, drink and dairy producers to industrial laboratories.
