The Biowave II UV Visible Spectrophotometer with Life Science Methods
With all of the advanced functionality of the Biochrom Lightwave II, the Biowave II diode array spectrophotometer incorporates additional life science applications. Pre-defined nucleic acid quantification methodologies are included for DNA, RNA and oligionucleotides, BCA, Biuret, Bradford and Lowry protein assays and cell culture density measurement.
Especially useful for applications involving RNA samples is the Biowave II’s visual nucleic acid scan feature, which can display impurities in the 230nm range but do not adversely affect the A260/A280 ratio. The rapid scanning, kinetics and concentration capabilities along with the life science methods features in the Biowave II UV Visible spectrophotometer make this instrument the natural choice for any molecular biology laboratory.
