Formed in 2003, Meritics offers a wide range of solutions for analysts who need to characterise powders, emulsions, liquids, solids and films.

With many years of experience, meaningful measurements in particle and materials characterisation can be easily obtained in a way best suited to the sample being analysed and the main requirements of the user.

The range of products from Meritics covers lab and online use. They supply main instruments as well as offering a system rental service for both short and long-term projects. The company also offers a range of bespoke contract analytical services, as well as calibration materials, consumables and reagents.

The many different products and services offered by Meritics means that any characterisation can be met and carried out efficiently.

Products

Since its founding eight years ago, Meritics has provided sales, service and technical support for the Beckman Coulter Particle Characterisation range of products. This includes the LS Laser Diffraction Particle Size Analysers and Multisizer Coulter Counter devices.

Over the years, complementary characterisation instruments from other leading manufacturers have been added, ensuring a comprehensive range of kit suitable for most particle and materials characterisation needs.

This variety means Meritics can provide the optimum equipment to give users detailed and accurate information about their samples.

The devices can measure characteristics including; powder flow and unconfined yield strength, particle size measurement from nanometers to 25 mm, airborne and liquid particle counting and sizing, surface area and pore size and emulsion/colloid stability. Meritics services also cover a wide range of samplers and powder analysers, rheometers and viscometers, image analysis, filter testing and environmental particulate monitoring.

Services

With considerable experience in the particle characterisation sector, Meritics also offers a full range of service and support options. This includes service contracts, instrument training and applications assistance, helping to ensure that users can make the most of their equipment.

Field and lab-based support staff are on hand to help solve any issues and instruments are also available to hire, giving flexibility when requirements change, without the added pressures on cash flow and funding.
